LAHORE: Chief Justice Lahore High Court (LHC) Syed Mansoor Ali Shah has on Saturday been appointed as a judge in the Supreme Court (SC) of Pakistan till November 2027.
According to a notification issued by Ministry of Law and Justice, Justice Mansoor has been appointed SC judge, while Justice Muhammad Yawar Ali will replace him as chief justice LHC.
Moreover, Kausar Sultana Hussain, Irshah Ali Shah, Agha Faisal, Adnan Iqbal Chaudhry, Amjad Ali Sahito and Shamsuddin Abbasi have been appointed as the additional judges of the Sindh High Court.
Justice Mansoor was appointed LHC judge on September 15, 2009, while he was elevated to the court’s chief justice in 2015.
