An 18-year-old girl was gunned down by her brother on suspicion of having illicit relation, at village Mazari Khan Chachar, in the limits of Hamayoon Police Station, some 80 kilometres from Shikarpur the other day.
According to an official, accused Abbas, Chachar by caste, allegedly shot his sister named Samina dead on the pretext of Karo-Kari and fled.
Following the information, area police reached the spot and moved the body to District Headquarters Hospital Shikarpur, and handed over to her relatives after completing necessary medico-legal formalities.
Neither an FIR was registered nor did the police come by any clue of the accused until the filling of this report.
